Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a very interesting Indian commemorative plaque with two mounted Kukris and six regimental badges made up of Indians from the World War II period.

The regimental badges include the Imperial Indian Army 101st Grenadiers regiment badge, the 61st Cavalry Regiment badge, the 4th Gwalior Infantry Regiment badge, the 18th Cavalry Regiment badge, the Service Before Self Indian army logo, and the Indian Parachute Regiment badge. The plaque measures 13 x 15.

The attached Kukris really add some great character to the plaque, with lovely nickel-plated steel blades decorated with small floral motifs. The pommels are lovely lions heads.

A beautiful display piece for any WWII collection.
